Forney HOZ ARB approves sign for 205 S. Bois D'arc
During its regular Feb. 27, 2017 meeting, the Forney Architecture Review Board met and:
- Held Public Hearings -
- Approved a request for a certificate of approval, in accordance with the Historic Overlay Zone district regulations, for a wall sign for the front facade of Maverick Chiropractic, 205 S. Bois D’Arc Street. This is currently Forney Chiropractic and Wellness Center.
There was no public input.
The board briefly discussed their desire to have signs that relate to historical themes or have some character. Mr. Morgan said this could be added to the March meeting agenda. The applicant said he was advised his logo would be hard to get approved, so he stuck with something simple, and his logo would be difficult for people driving by to recognize.
